Every water-based product needs a preservative to prevent bacteria or fungi growing in it. We have used a low amount of this naturally derived preservative to extend this products shelf life. We have avoided the unpopular Parabens preservatives (linked with cancer concerns) and other less natural preservatives.

Derived from Palm oil (not coconut oil), this is a natural humectant (draws moisture from the air), replacing moisture to the skin surface and having water retaining properties.
